Study Abroad

Georgia Tech sends 2350+ students abroad annually on Education Abroad programs. Education abroad gives students an opportunity to improve their global competencies while meeting their academic goals and fulfilling their degree requirements. General information on study abroad programs & access to the Office of International Education (OIE) newsletter can be found on their website.

Neuroscience students often participate in a variety of study aboard programs (links to the most popular programs are listed below). Additionally, our students have the ability to seek out a global engagement certificate or complete the International Plan.

The International Plan is an optional, degree-long, and challenging undergraduate academic program aimed at developing a student’s global competence within the context of Neuroscience. It integrates overseas experiences, language proficiency, and globally-focused coursework into the B.S. Neuroscience degree requirements and is recognized by a designation on the student’s diploma, e.g., “B.S. in Neuroscience: International Plan.”
